A second One Piece baseball game night is coming up, with a Los Angeles Dodgers game against the Chicago White Sox featuring the manga and anime characters. The tie-in happens at Dodger Stadium at 7:10pm PT on July 3, 2025. This time, the promotion is connected to the One Piece Card Game, with the free giveaway being an exclusive meant for players.

The official MLB site for Dodgers tickets brought up some of the promotions and special events tied to One Piece night. In addition to the card for the game, there will also be straw hats given away and a drone show will take place during the evening. While everyone gets one card per ticket, the hats are only for the first 40,000 people who enter. The cheapest price to get in as of time of writing is $99.10, which includes the $12.10 in additional feels. The most you could end up spending is about $317.10, which includes $22.10 in fees.

While we don’t know what the hat will look like, Toei Animation showed what the card will look like. It features Monkey D. Luffy in a Dodgers uniform. He’s got a bat on his back, and a baseball cap on top of his straw hat. He’s in the midst of a pitch, which he’s throwing using his Gum-Gum Fruit abilities. It also has the “Don!! - 2” ability that kicks in when someone’s only played Straw Hat Crew .

Here’s the Luffy Dodgers One Piece Card Game card:

There have been three One Piece game nights already. First, the LA Lakers game against the Clippers honored the anime. In April 2025, the Seattle Mariners game against the Houston Astros involved the crew. The May 2025 Boston Red Sox match against the Minnesota Twins also featured the cast.

The Dodgers One Piece game night takes place on July 3, 2025. The first season of the One Piece live-action adaptation is on Netflix. The anime is streaming on services like Crunchyroll and Netflix. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

Meet Tony Tony Chopper in Live-Action One Piece

During the May 2025 Tudum showcase, Netflix revealed the live-action version of Tony Tony Chopper in One Piece and confirmed his voice actor. He’ll be played by Mikaela Hoover. There’s also a brief trailer showing him off, during which the 2026 launch window for the second season appeared.

The teaser video began with Chopper trying to hide behind a column. Inaki Godoy, as Monkey D. Luffy, mentioned that we can see him and told him to come out. Chopper then stepped out and introduced himself, walking down the steps as he did. He noted that the second season of the live-action adaptation will come out in 2026. After he fell down the stairs, he called for a doctor. However, at that point he brought up that he is a physician. It doesn’t note if any of his other forms will appear.

Here’s the full One Piece live-action video from Netflix showing how Chopper will look in the series.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rT0r90co_EA&ab_channel=Netflix

The character is also now part of a new daily life series called Chopper's. That shows up on social media sites like Instagram and shows him as he goes through daily life and ordinary situations in the modern world.

Many of Mikaela Hoover’s performances prior to her role in One Piece involved ing roles or one-time appearances in ongoing series. For example, she was in one episode of Duster, and she played a Humanimal named Floor in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

This marks the fifth English voice actor for Tony Tony Chopper in One Piece, with Brina Palencia perhaps being the most recent recognizable one. Palencia portrayed him since 2000.

The first season of the One Piece live-action adaptation is on Netflix. The anime is streaming on services like Crunchyroll and Netflix. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

The Monsters One Piece Figures Make Characters Labubu 1i215n https://siliconera.sitesdebloques.org/the-monsters-one-piece-figures-make-characters-labubu/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-monsters-one-piece-figures-make-characters-labubu https://siliconera.sitesdebloques.org/the-monsters-one-piece-figures-make-characters-labubu/#respond <![CDATA[Jenni Lada]]> Sun, 25 May 2025 19:00:00 +0000 <![CDATA[Anime]]> <![CDATA[Featured]]> <![CDATA[Europe]]> <![CDATA[Figures]]> <![CDATA[Japan]]> <![CDATA[Merchandise]]> <![CDATA[North America]]> <![CDATA[One Piece]]> <![CDATA[Playtests]]> <![CDATA[Pop Mart]]> https://siliconera.sitesdebloques.org/?p=1093253 <![CDATA[

The Monsters One Piece Figures Make Characters Labubu

Labubu basically ended up being the pop culture fad going into 2025, with Kasing Lung’s The Monsters designs resulting in different kinds of merchandise based on the characters, and shockingly enough One Piece is a part of it. While the only one with plush elements are the 400% and 1,000% Mega Labubu of Chopper, with the hat being soft fabric, Pop Mart also released PVC, ABS figures of the Straw Hat crew. While I do think the ideal target audience for the collection is going to be people already interested in Labubu, the design and execution is such that I think people who love One Piece might be interested it for the depiction of some of the cast.

Okay, so to start, the Pop Mart The Monsters One Piece collection is a blind box situation, but it is possible to avoid getting repeat characters by making sure you only get Labubu figures from the same box. This is because each unopened box includes a full set of 12. However, the caveat is that this set is actually made up of 13 total, as the secret one is a Gear 5 version of Luffy. Odds of getting it are 1/144. So most likely someone will just get the full, standard crew of Straw Hats or those considered allies in a box. It basically covers up through the Whole Cake Island Arc, if you don’t count the Gear 5 figure.

In of style and size, the characters are all very uniform. This does mean they aren’t realistic and to scale in any way. Like Chopper being the same size as Franky sort of proves that. However, there is about the same care and effort put into each one, which I appreciated. Their poses all seem realistic and based on attacks or actions in the anime and manga. The standard Luffy one is about to unleash Gomu Gomu no Mi. Sanji is in the midst of a Diable Jambe attack. Nami comes with a (removable) Clima-Tact in the midst of an electrical attack. There are special uses of glossy paint or transparent parts for certain effects, such as Franky and Robin’s sunglasses. Also, when characters arrive, the packing involves foam for more delicate parts, such as Usopp’s slingshot, Jinbe’s ponytail, and the neck of Brook’s guitar, to ensure they aren’t damaged in transit. All of the bases are also individual Berry coins with specialized parts to ensure they grip characters properly. So while Zoro’s coin has no parts, there are pegs on ones for folks like Sanji and slats that fit into Jinbe’s geta.

I also mentioned that certain people feature extra accessories. as accents, and you could honestly sort of pose them with or without them. The One Piece characters with extra parts in this The Monsters Labubu figures line are Law, Nami, Sabo, and Sanji. Out of those, I feel like you could honestly display any without their extra accent or weapon, though with Nami it’s a bit of a stretch. Her Clima-Tact, the fire on Sanji’s foot, Sabo’s pipe, and Law’s Kikoku are all separate parts, in some cases with additional paint jobs or translucent elements. All of them fit well into the figures’ hands, so they are pretty stable once in place for display. They’re nice little accents that set the characters apart, and I sort of wish Robin came with extra hands to showcase her Devil Fruit ability since she is in a pose that suggests she is using it.

Honestly, the Labubu Robin figure is the only one in the One Piece The Monsters set that I didn’t really like. Yes, it is cool that she has translucent sunglasses on her head. However, her pose isn’t as expressive as other characters, the nature of it means we don’t see as much of her costume as the the rest of the set, and it generally doesn’t feel as detailed. Everyone else has a lot more personality to them, which I appreciated.

The funny thing is, I actually think the Brook one is one of my favorites even though it features no real The Monsters or Labubu accents. There are no signature ears. The skull doesn’t feature the pointy teeth in place of the standard ones. The only thing that suggests he’s part of the line are the proportions. Even so, it really just looks adorable and very true to the character, and I appreciate that.

Okay, scratch that. My actual favorite is Franky. I really don’t care about the character when he shows up in One Piece games or other adaptations. He’s just sort of there. But I do appreciate how the Labubu figure version of him in this The Monsters line features a little bit of articulation. You can move his arms up and down, and I really like that extra bit of whimsy.

People’s mileage may vary when it comes to the Pop Mart The Monsters One Piece figures of characters as Labubu. The designs are well-thought out and made, I will say. And some of them are especially neat due to extra accessories or posing elements. They are quite cute and, since there is the One Piece connection, they’ll be relevant even when the fad wears out. Especially in the case of the extra cute Franky, Brook, or Chopper ones. I do wish maybe some characters had a bit more to them, like Robin, but in general they’re fun.

The Monsters One Piece figures that turn characters into Labubu are available in single blind boxes or in a full box of 12. The anime is streaming on services like Crunchyroll and Netflix. The live-action adaptation is on Netflix. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

New One Piece Chopper’s Comics Brings Him to the Modern World

There will be a new One Piece comic or cartoon project following Tony Tony Chopper called Chopper’s. The idea is that it will show what the character’s life would be like if he lived alongside us in modern times. The official site notes that Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha, and animation company Maxilla are involved.

The first comic hasn’t appeared yet and there are currently no animations at time of writing showing what his adventures will look like in Chopper’s yet. However, the official site did share a key image and three sample images that suggest what the art style will look like and how it might go. The key image serves to only show a more muted, pastel, and cute design direction for Chopper. In the images, we see the character walking down the aisle of an airplane to head on a trip, doing some baking, and taking a selfie.

Here is how all three of the initial images look. It suggests that Chopper might be the only figure in color, with other characters, items, and backgrounds being monochromatic.

As for where we can see these new adventures, they’ll be online daily on social media and video sites. The comics will be shown on their own Instagram and X. Only the key image is on both now. Meanwhile, it looks like these shorts for Chopper’s will be ed to the One Piece TikTok and YouTube s.

We’ve seen this character get his moments like this before. He appeared in a platformer focused on him, and the One Piece Tamagotchi involves raising him.

The One Piece Chopper’s comic and animated shorts will start running soon. The original One Piece anime is on streaming services like Crunchyroll and Netflix, the manga is handled by Viz Media in English, and the live-action adaptation is on Netflix.

baskin robbins one piece

Baskin Robbins Japan is teasing a One Piece collaboration, in which you can eat flavors inspired by Devil Fruits from the series. According to a post on X (formerly Twitter), Baskin Robbins will reveal more details about the flavors on March 25, 2025.

The promotional image for the collaboration shows a ball of ice-cream that’s purple with a red sauce on it. What looks like white candies dot the surface area. You can see the BR logo above, which now features Luffy helping to form the R. As for the post itself, it states that the One Piece flavors will appear in stores from April 2025, and welcomes people to try and guess what they’ll taste like.

Another promotion that’s ongoing right now with Baskin Robbins Japan is a crossover event with Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds. This one can net you an in-game charm, as well as real life merchandise. While you can purchase a special set of ice cream as part of this promotion, this one doesn’t have any new limited time flavors, like the previous Splatoon 3 or Super Mario promotions did.

Baskin Robbins will start selling its One Piece flavors in April 2025, and more information on said flavors will come out on March 25, 2025.

One Piece Egghead Arc New English Dub and Simulcast Episodes Dated anime

Crunchyroll announced that there will be an array of new One Piece Egghead arc anime episodes, with English dub ones appearing ahead of new simulcast installments out of Japan. The new dubbed debut is March 18, 2025. However, more totally new episodes show up on April 6, 2025.

In the case of the English One Piece Egghead arc dub releases, it basically finishes up season 21 of the anime. Last Crunchyroll left off, it stopped at episode 1,108. The new drop picks up at 1,109. That will carry over to episode 1,122, which was the last episode of that season.

As for the new episodes, that picks up right where things left off. Episode 1,123 of the One Piece Egghead Arc will debut on April 6, 2025. This means it will be a part of the Spring 2025 anime season when it arrives.

In the meantime, there will also be some additional anime adaptations to watch. The specials 14, 15, and 16 will all appear on March 18, 2025.

This means there’s one arc that isn’t in the anime yet. While we’re getting through the Egghead arc of One Piece, none of Elbaph showed up. However, that only did start in September 2024, so it might be a while before that shows up.

You can find the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan. The live-action adaptation is only on Netflix

one piece zoro chopsticks stand

Castem is selling chopsticks stands that can turn your chopsticks into either the Tora-Gari or Ul-Tora Gari attacks from One Piece. Each stand costs 1760 JPY ($11.80). [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The One Piece Tora-Gari and Ul-Tora Gari chopsticks stands appeared in stores on March 5, 2025. You can find them in the Castem Rakuten store or at places like Eslite. The stands themselves look like Zoro preparing to launch either the Tora-Gari or Ul-Tora Gari attacks. He already has a sword in his mouth, and your chopsticks will complete the swords he’s holding. The blade of the sword he’s carrying in his mouth, as well as his arm, will serve to your chopsticks.

While both stands are striking the same pose, Zoro himself looks different. The Ul-Tora Gari version features an older Zoro. His hairstyle reflects this change, and he’s also more muscular than the Tora-Gari version.

As Zoro is one of the more popular characters in One Piece, it’s not surprising to see him star in merchandise without the other of the crew. Goods that focus on his katana have appeared multiple times in the past as well. For example, in 2024, Bandai Namco announced Proplica swords of his weapons. You can even use them to pull off the Three-Sword Style yourself if you wanted to.

The One Piece chopsticks stands are readily available in stores in Japan.

Next One Piece Night Baseball Event Is a Red Sox Game in Boston ab

Toei Animation announced there will be yet another One Piece Night held in 2025, and it will again involve a Red Sox baseball game in Boston. It will take place on May 3, 2025, when the Red Sox face the Minnesota Twins at Fenway Park. That game starts at 4:10pm ET, and tickets are on sale now.

The official site for the One Piece Night showed off some of the Red Sox merchandise people can get if they turn out for the game. There are regular and VIP theme ticket options. Each one includes different bonuses. The standard one starts at $46.25 for a seat in the upper bleachers, which is $39 plus a $7.25 fee. According to the site, that also gets you the themed jersey that includes “Straw Hat Crew” on the back and the “Jolly Roger” design from the series. That is a unisex adult shirt in sizes small through extra large.

If someone gets the VIP theme ticket, that gives you the jersey and a matching hat. That starts at $72.75 for an upper bleacher seat, which is $64 plus the $8.75 fee. Only people who get that type of ticket can also get in early. There will be “pregame entertainment” based on the anime for those who do.

Here’s how the official announcement looks, as well as the hat and jersey.

As a reminder, the 2024 game involved a Monkey D. Luffy bobblehead. Tickets for that event sold out not long after the event was announced.

The Boston Red Sox One Piece Night will begin at Fenway Park 4:10pm ET on May 3, 2025, and the baseball game will involve the Minnesota Twins. You can find the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan.

Lego One Piece

One Piece Lego is on its way, as confirmed by both the official website and official One Piece social media . No further details have been revealed yet beyond a 2025 release window, however.

Lego revealed the announcement with a teaser trailer on the company’s website. It features a straw hat being grabbed by a stretchy Lego hand. As the hat is taken out of shot the One Piece theme kicks in and the words “coming soon” appear on screen. The collaboration will tie in with the Netflix live-action adaptation specifically. A press release from Netflix has confirmed multiple playsets are in production, although they have yet to announce any further details.

To celebrate, the manga’s original creator, Eiichiro Oda, shared a piece of artwork on social media. In the artwork he explains his personal love for Lego and his excitement at seeing One Piece getting its own playsets. He claimed that he’d been asking for this collaboration for 25 years. Of course, he has promised to build and display the sets when they are eventually released.

As well the Lego collaboration, Netflix has also been steadily revealing the cast for the second season of One Piece. This includes Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek and Rico Sanchez as Dragon. A release date for the second season has yet to be announced.

No release date has been announced for the One Piece Lego sets. Season 2 of the One Piece live-action adaptation is currently in production.
