To commemorate the release of Urban Myth Dissolution Center, Shueisha Games announced three different campaigns, including a manga one-shot. There will also be collaboration events in Japan.

An original manga one-shot based on Urban Myth Dissolution Center, Case File: Kunekune, will appear in Jump+ on February 13, 2025. The Kunekune is an urban legend that first started on the Internet, similar to the Slender Man mythos. First appearing in 2001 on 2ch, the Kunekune is a slender, white humanoid shape that wriggles its limbs. That’s how it got the name “Kunekune,” as it’s a word for wiggling or twisting.

Those in Japan can also visit the Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara or bookstores around the country to participate in special events or get exclusive goods. Bookstores will offer an original bookmark if you spend over 1000 JPY and show them the campaign image. You’ll randomly get one of six designs. This campaign will run from February 13 to March 9, 2025. Meanwhile, Yodobashi Camera will hold multiple events, like a photo spot, exhibitions recreating scenes from the game, and a mystery solving event. The Urban Myth Dissolution Center campaign at Yodobashi Camera will last from February 17 to March 2, 2025. However, the mystery solving event will only take place on February 22 and 23.

Urban Myth Dissolution Center will come out on February 13, 2025 for the PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam.

According to a leak from Ryokutya2089, the mangaka behind Dr. Stone named Boichi is reportedly about to debut a new manga series titled Childhood's End in Jump Plus. The science fiction series is alleged to be officially announced on July 29, 2024. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089!]

The leak suggests that the work will be another science fiction series. Boichi’s writing is generally known for being well-structured and character-based. The key visuals that have surfaced seem to show two of the potential protagonists.

While details remain sparse and unconfirmed, the anticipation surrounding Boichi’s new project is significant. Dr. Stone garnered widespread acclaim for its stylistic fusion of science fiction and adventure.

This announcement follows the Dr. Stone spin-off manga that took place after the main story. Published in Weekly Shonen Jump back on November 6, 2023, the short series focused on Senku working on a time machine in a what-if scenario.

Boichi is not only the author of Dr. Stone. The mangaka is known for many other works. For example, he was behind the series Origin and Sun-ken Rock. Boichi worked on short one-shots as well, with one being a Trigun piece. In addition to manga, he worked on manhwa.

Childhood's End is expected to begin its Jump Plus run on July 29, 2024.

Ayakashi Triangle will end on September 25, 2023, in Jump Plus. The final volume, Volume 16, will come out on December 4, 2023. The manga will end on the same date as the last episode of the anime. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Ayakashi Triangle is a fantasy romcom manga and anime series by Kentaro Yabuki. Yabuki previously wrote and drew Black Cat, and he was also the illustrator for To Love Ru (which Saki Hasemi wrote). Ayakashi Triangle follows the story of Matsuri Kazamaki and Suzu Kanade, who are able to see ayakashi (spirits). Matsuri can exorcist ayakashi while Suzu is a medium who naturally draws the spirits to her side. Since Suzu is in danger of ayakashi devouring her to gain more power, he stays by her side to protect her.

The manga started its run in June 2020. The first volume sold over 33,000 copies when it first came out in October 2020. The anime for the show started airing in January 2023. It stars Shoya Chiba and Miyu Tomita as Matsuri and Kana Ichinose as Suzu.
