The Pop Up Parade figure of Inuyasha will be available again. Good Smile Company has opened a new global pre-order batch for the figure that originally appeared in 2021. The non-scale figure has an approximate total height of around 17cm (6.69in).

People can place pre-orders for the figure on Good Smile Online Shop U.S. for those living in the U.S. and Canada or Good Smile Company's Japanese international website for those who reside elsewhere worldwide. The newly restocked figure will be available again at $31.99 / ￥4,800.

This Pop Up Parade will not be the only Inuyasha figure to be restocked. In May 2024, Good Smile Company revealed that it will restock the chibi Nendoroid action figure based on the same character in Japan in October 2024 and North America in 2025.

There has also been a new influx of Inuyasha merchandise in 2024. Merchandise featuring characters from the manga and anime series appeared at 100-yen stores like Daiso and Flet's in April 2024.

Good Smile Company will close the pre-order period for the new batch of Inuyasha Pop Up Parade figures on September 4, 2024. It will re-release the figures in Japan in December 2024 and in North America in Q2 2025.

Good Smile Company announced that it will rerelease its Inuyasha Nendoroid, with the figure returning in Japan in October 2024 and worldwide in 2025. It will cost ￥5,800/$34.99. This will mark the second appearance of the collectible, and there’s no word yet on if other characters from the series in the line will return.

The Inuyasha Nendoroid first appeared back in July 2021. The rerelease comes with all of the same items and accessories. So he has smiling, shouting, and shocked faces. He can wield Tessaiga. You can also make it look like he is sitting or performing Reaver Soul Stealer.

Multiple Inuyasha figures appeared in this line. For example, Inuyasha was followed by Kagome and Kikyo ones. Miroku and Sango ones also showed up. Not to mention someone could buy Sesshoumaru too.

The Inuyasha Nendoroid will return in October 2024 in Japan and Q1 2025 worldwide. Pre-orders are available until June 19, 2024. You can stream the anime series on Crunchyroll, and Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan.

A new line of Inuyasha merchandise items is now available at various 100-yen stores throughout Japan. The stores where the items will appear include Daiso, Seria, Can Do, Watts, Meets, Silk, and Flet's. [Thanks, Oricon!]

Depending on the store, items available might vary. Some of the items available as part of the new Inuyasha merchandise collection include clear file folders, multi folders, notepads, notebooks, sticky notes, stickers, masking tape, handerkchief towels, various acrylic stands, can badges, pens, and plush keychains, to name a few.

The characters featured in the merchandise items include Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo and Kirara, Miroku, Sesshomaru and Rin, and Kikyo.

Since the new Inuyasha merchandise collection is appearing at 100-yen stores, the majority of items will cost 100 yen (~$0.65.) However, some item prices will differ for more expensive merchandise. You can check out the merchandise items with a different price tag here:

Weekly Shonen Sunday published the results of its Heroine Grand Prix poll. In total, 275,027 people cast in their votes. This poll included characters from series that have ended, such as Magi, Hayate the Combat Butler, and Flame of Recca. Three out of the Top 10 characters originate from Detective Conan. Rumiko Takahashi, who wrote Inuyasha and Urusei Yatsura, was also the mangaka for RIN-NE. Morgiana from Magi is in 25th place and Yanagi Sakoshita of Flame of Recca is 26th.

The prominence of the Detective Conan characters likely has to do with the enduring popularity of the series. The ubiquitous mass appeal of the series likely means it has a broader range of people voting for it. It is a little unclear how Ayumi beat so many other heroines in the poll. Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine came out in Japan on April 14, 2023 and it is the 26th movie in the series. It made over ten billion JPY (around $71 million) in the domestic box office.

Viz Media ed several long-running anime series' episodes onto its official YouTube channel for free. These are the subbed versions. Not all of the shows are complete. But it is unclear if Viz Media will the missing seasons some time in the future, or if there are licensing issues involved. [Thanks, MangaAlerts!]

The complete series of some of them, such as Death Note or Hunter x Hunter 2011, are already available on services such as Netflix and Crunchyroll. However, s will need to have a paid in order to watch them.

More Inuyasha Nendoroid pre-orders are open. This time, they might be difficult to get. Good Smile Company announced release dates and windows for the Nendoroid figures for Sango and Miroku. However, due to production facility limitations, only a certain, unnamed number will be made and sold. People will have until December 2, 2021 to attempt to call dibs on each of them. Miroku is slightly cheaper at ¥5,300/$52.99. Meanwhile, Sango will cost ¥5,500/$54.99.

The Miroku Nendoroid is a fairly basic one. He has three face plates, his shakujo staff, and his prayer beads. One of his spare hands shows his Wind Tunnel. There is also a hand part designed to go with Sango, so it can look like he’s attempting to sweet talk her.

The Sango Nendoroid comes with a few more Inuyasha inspired accessories, which might for the higher price. Like Miroku, she will have three face plates. Kirara comes with her and can turn its head. She has her Hiraikotsu boomerang, which comes with its own stand for posing purposes. You can also have her wear her mask.

Good Smile Company revealed the two Inuyasha Nendoroid figures in July 2021. They a lineup that includes Inuyasha himself, Kagome, Kikyou, and Sesshoumaru.

Pre-orders for the Sango and Miroku Nendoroids will remain open until December 2, 2021 or they run out, whichever comes first. The two figures will come to Japan in August 2022 and North America in October 2022.

There will be even more Inuyasha Nendoroids. Good Smile Company isn’t moving on to Yashahime characters yet, though. At Anime Expo Lite 2021, the company revealed Miroku and Sango Nendoroids will the collection. This means all four of the major characters will eventually be available.

Good Smile Company only preliminary concept art of the Miroku and Sango Nendoroids. Each one will be wearing their typical outfits. It appears Sango will come with Hiraikotsu, her boomerang. However, Kirara didn’t appear in the image. It also looks like Miroku will be able to hold his shakujo.

The two four other figures in this collection. First, Good Smile Company released a figure of Inuyasha. Then, a Sesshoumaru one appeared to match him. After that, both Kagome and Kikyo Nendoroids ed this line. The company also started releasing Pop Up Parade figures of different characters.

Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders for two Pop Up Parade Inuyasha figures of Sesshomaru and Kikyo. Both figures will stand at around 7 inches tall and cost $38.99. Both pre-orders will last until July 15, 2021, with Kikyo shipping in December 2021 and Sesshomaru shipping in January 2022.

The figures are based on the designs of the two characters from Inuyasha: The Final Act. Kikyo wears her traditional priestess dress from the series, which features minute details down to her straw geta sandals and socks. Her jet black hair also has a faint purple hue on her bangs and is tied up with her signature white knot. However, she does not appear to come with her bow and arrows.

Inuyasha's half-brother Sesshomaru is featured in a dynamic pose that shows off the character's long hair. He can be seen wielding both Tenseiga and Tokijin but not Bakusaiga. This likely means that the figure is a version of Sesshomaru without his arm.

Pop Up Parade is Good Smile Company's budget line of figures, each available for ¥3900 or $38.99. It previously announced two other Pop Up Parade figures of Inuyasha and Kagome, both set to debut in late 2021. Steve Aoki and VIZ Media have another officially licensed clothing line collaboration in the form of a Dim Mak X Inuyasha collection. The collection includes graphic T-shirts and hoodies of fan-favorite characters, which will run buyers between $38 and $85. Orders for the newest addition to Aoki's fashion brand will open up on May 28, 2021 at 12am PT/3am ET.

The collection features 12 different items in total, combining Rumiko Takahashi's artwork with the Dim Mak aesthetic. Classic characters like Inuyasha, Kanna, Kikyo, Sango, and Sesshomaru all make appearances across the clothing line. The unifying themes are bright pinks and kaleidoscopic tie-dye colors, the latter of which has seen a major comeback in recent years.

People will have two new affordable Inuyasha figures to choose from later this year. Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for two classic characters. The Inuyasha and Kagome Pop Up Parade figures will debut in September 2021 in Japan and October 2021 in North America. Each one will cost $38.99/¥3,900.

Both the Inuyasha and Kagome Pop Up Parade figures are based on their original appearances. This means that Kagome is still in her school uniform. She also has no weapon equipped in her pose. However, Inuyasha is carrying a sheathed Tessaiga. The two of them will be about or under 18cm (7 inches) tall.

Johnny & Associates announced that its Japanese boy band V6 will disband on November 1, 2021. The musical group, best known for providing theme songs to InuYasha and Ultraman Tiga, will disband on their 26th anniversary. [Thanks, Bunshun.]

The main reason for V6's disbandment is that Go Morita, one of the group , is set to leave Johnny & Associates on November 1, 2021. The agency, better known as Johnny's, manages the group along with all its . As V6 cannot perform unless all six are present, the remaining decided to disband the group altogether.

The six-man group debuted on November 1, 1995. V6 has two sub-groups: The 20th Century group consisting the three older Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, and Yoshihiko Inohara, and the Coming Century group comprised of the younger Go Morita, Ken Miyake, and Junichi Okada. Although Coming Century will also disband with Go Morita's exit, Johnny's is still keeping 20th Century intact.

V6 is well-known in the subculture community for contributing theme songs to video games, tokusatsu, and anime shows. The group was most famous for performing "Take Me Higher," the theme song of Ultraman Tiga, "Change the World," the first opening of InuYasha — the prequel to Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon — and "Brand-New World," the eighth ending of InuYasha.

V6 also sang "Break Out," the eighteenth opening of Fairy Tail, "Super Powers," the twenty-first opening of One Piece, and "Rock Your Soul," the theme song of the 2012 video game Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2. The two sub-groups also performed theme songs for Eyeshield 21 separately: Coming Century sang the first opening, "Breakthrough," while 20th Century performed the second opening, "Innocence."

A video game dedicated to the boy band was also available on the PlayStation in Japan. On February 26, 1998, General Entertainment released Project V6, a simulation game where the player assumes the role of a female manager tasked to manage V6's for a full year.

Even more Inuyasha Nendoroids are in development. This time, two more of the most important characters in the series are getting new figures. Good Smile Company revealed Kagome and Kikyo Nendoroids. (They’re sold separately, of course.) Both will launch in July 2021 in Japan and in August 2021 in North America for $50.99/¥4,818 each.

Both the Kagome and Kikyo Nendoroids each come with three faceplates. Kagome has her normal smile, one expression that is simultaneously angry and embarrassed, and a third that is determined. She also includes a bow, arrow, quiver, and an extra pair of legs so she can sit beside the Inuyasha Nendroid.

Kikyo also has three expressions. One is a neutral face, another looks cross, and the third one has eyes closed. She also has a bow and arrow with her, a Shikon Jewel she can hold, and a Soul Collector yokai.

They aren’t the only Inuyasha Nendoroids. Inuyasha appeared in 2020 and will be getting a rerelease in July 2021 in Japan and August 2021 in North America. Sesshomaru, his brother, is also on the way too. A Kagome figma was even released a decade ago. So far, there aren’t any Yashahime Nendoroids.

The Inuyasha Kagome and Kikyo Nendoroids will appear in Japan in July 2021 and in North America in August 2021. Pre-orders for both will close on February 4, 2021. The Inuyasha sequel, Yashahime, is currently airing in Japan and streaming worldwide.

The familiy of Kirby Morrow announced the Canadian actor ed away at the age of 47. He was known for both his live action and voice acting performances, most notably for his roles in anime series like Inuyasha and Gundam Wing. The cause of death was not revealed. [Thanks, GateWorld and The Wrap.]

The Mount Royal University alumni got started in the industry as a voice actor. As IMDB pointed out, among his first roles were characters in Mobile Suit Gundam and MS Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. His first major role was Gundam Wing’s Trowa Barton, which would end up being a character he would play in subsequent miniseries and games after. His other notable anime roles include Van Fanel in Escaflowne, Miroku in Inuyasha, Yuki Aiba in Infinite Ryvius, Michelangelo in various Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Cyclops in X-Men Evolution, and Cole in Lego Ninjago. He also played Captain Dave Kleinman in Stargate Atlantis and Benny in Legion.

This means that Yashahime will likely be among Morrow’s final roles. Earlier in November 2020, the official cast announcement confirmed that he would reprise his role as Miroku, as would Richard Ian Cox as Inuyasha, Jill Michaels as Sango, Jillian Michaels as Shippo, and David Kaye as Sesshomaru. Episodes of the English dub are now streaming online.

As you can see above, the various hands allow the Sesshomaru to hold his weapons and brandish his Poison Claws. The swords include the Tensaiga and Bakusaiga. He could potentially be the perfect addition to a collection of someone that already purchased the Inuyasha Nendoroid, as seen in the final image.

It was recently confirmed that the original English voice actor for Sesshomaru will be returning to reprise his role in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. Other of the English voice cast were also confirmed with this announcement, including the voice for Inuyasha. Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon stars the twin daughters of the demon Sesshomaru, and is a sequel to the popular manga and anime Inuyasha.

The Sesshomaru Nendoroids will appear in June 2021 in Japan and July 2021 in North America.
