Good Smile Company shared the release windows for the new Persona 3 Reload Nendoroid of protagonist Makoto Yuki, and the Basic version of the figure will release later in 2025 in some regions. In Japan, we’ll see it show up in September 2025. The worldwide release is set for Q1 2026. 

As this is a Nendoroid Basic figure, it won’t be as robust or expensive as others in the line. It’ll be ￥3,900/$26.99. His facial expression is a stoic, neutral one. He also hold his base one-handed sword in his right hand.

This isn’t the first Persona 3 Nendoroid, as the original figure based on Makoto’s appearance in the PS2 game debuted in 2022. Since that is a more traditional model, it included extra face plates, hand parts, and accessories. It only showed up once worldwide, and there’s been no rerun since its debut. 

While this is a Persona 3 Reload model, it isn’t too dissimilar from the original Persona 3 version. The hairstyle and facial expression are identical to the 2022 release, and the uniform seems almost exactly the same. The weapon is different, however, as the one-handed sword for this figure is an all-silver one that resembles Makoto’s starting weapon and the one with the original figure was a more traditional sword with gold hilt. 

The Persona 3 Reload Nendoroid Basic figure of the protagonist Makoto Yuki will appear in Japan in September 2025. It will appear later worldwide in Q1 2026. Pre-orders for it will close on June 25, 2025. Persona 3 Reload is available worldwide on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the original game first debuted on the PS2.

It’s taken 10 years, but Good Smile Company announced it will finally release a new Cardcaptor Sakura Tomoyo Daidouji Nendoroid. This latest figure isn’t an update of the original, as it depicts an older version of the character from the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card anime. It will cost ￥6,800 when it debuts in November 2025 in Japan, and it will be $44.99 when it launches in the US in Q2 2026.

Since this is an older version of Tomoyo, she wears her Tomoeda Junior High uniform for the figure. In the original, she wore the elementary branch’s, which featured a simpler white skirt and a hat. She comes with an updated video camera accessory and a phone, both for taking pictures and footage of Sakura. Her school bag can be held in her right hand too. She comes with a neutral smiling face plate, one in which she’s extra happy, and a new take on the "Sakura-chan is incredibly cute" expression. (The original Nendoroid featured a similar one with stars in her eyes.

Just like the first Nendoroid, there is a Good Smile Company Online Shop bonus. The initial one came with a Kero-chan figure. This one comes with extra hand parts for an additional pose, which you can see below:

This figure is designed to match another recent Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Nendoroid. One of Sakura Kinomoto appeared in 2024. Her and Tomoyo’s uniforms will match. This could mean that, if you own both, you could swap their hand, arm, and leg parts for more potential poses.

The Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Tomoyo Daidouji Nendoroid will debut in Japan in November 2025 and worldwide in Q2 2026. Pre-orders are open until July 9, 2025. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Good Smile Company is making a new Hatsune Miku figure of the Vocaloid in a Shooting Star a la Mode dress from Japanese fashion brand Baby The Stars Shine Bright. It will cost ￥33,900/$222.99. It will first debut in Japan, where it has a June 2026 launch window. A worldwide release will follow, with the company’s US storefront estimating it will appear by Q4 2026. 

This is a static, 1/7 scale figure, so there are no extra accessories or face plates. The design of it is based on a piece of En Morikura art that showed the character in the Lolita style dress. The idea is for it to not only be a replica of the artist’s design, but also of the outfit sold by the fashion brand itself. It will stand at over 10 inches tall (260mm). It will also stand on a translucent blue base.

To compare, Baby The Stars Shine Bright’s official site shared photos of the original Shooting Star a la Mode dress and Morikura art so we could compare them to the figure. 

In Japan, the Baby The Stars Shine Bright stores sold other merchandise based on this crossover and showing the original En Morikura art. You could get items like an acrylic stand, clear file, keychain, and tapestry. 

This is the second Hatsune Miku figure from a major artist to show up recently. Another one featured a Mai Yoneyama design. Like the Baby, The Stars Shine Bright design, additional merchandise based on that art also is on the way.

Good Smile Company announced that it will sell additional Hatsune Miku merchandise based on the Mai Yoneyama art of the character. It shared initial details and images showing the items on social media. However, it didn’t note when exactly the items will be sold or if they'll appear before the matching figure.

The items range in price from ￥550 (~$4) for a “ticket” with the design on it to a five and a half foot tall tapestry for ￥7,700 (~$53). All of the items feature the illustration in a prominent way, with some of them being acrylic standees of the Vocaloid.

All of this follows a confirmed Hatsune Miku figure based on the Yoneyama design for the Vocaloid. The 1/7 scale figure is expected to release in Japan in December 2025. A US release will follow. Pre-orders already closed back in October 2024. People who bought it directly through Good Smile Company also got a framed reproduction of the art that inspired it.

Mai Yoneyama and her art might be quite familiar. She’s well known for her designs, which can be found on places like Pixiv and Artstation. Some of her most recent work involved the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Promare, Kill la Kill, FLCL Progressive, and Darling in the Franxx. She also worked on the Kate Tokyo Evangelion ad with Rei Ayanami.

Good Smile Company started pre-orders for the next new Fire Emblem: Three Houses figure, which is a figma of the female version of Byleth. She’ll debut in June 2026 in Japan, followed by a worldwide release. This one costs ￥12,800/$90.99.

As this is a figma, Byleth will be about six inches tall, be fully articulated. She will come with accessories from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There will be three face plates representing a neutral expression, a smiling one, and one in which she is angrily shouting. She comes with one weapon, which is the Sword of the Creator, though there is also an additional effect part to show the fiery whip form of it. Multiple pairs of hands are also included for different poses.

We’ve seen quite a few Fire Emblem Byleth figures from Good Smile Company, and they represent both the male and female avatars. For example, Pop Up Parade versions of each one showed up in the more affordable, static, non-scale line.

Good Smile Company announced it will rerelease both the Samus Aran Zero Suit and standard figma figures based on the character’s Metroid: Other M opinions. The two initially launched over 10 years ago, with the standard Power Suit option debuting back in 2012 and the Zero Suit design debuting in 2016. Due to the Trump tariffs, the US site orders aren’t open. Both figures are priced at ￥9,800 (~68) in the Japanese storefront. The Power Suit version will appear in January 2026 in Japan, followed by Zero Suit in February 2026. 

In the case of the Power Suit, that doesn’t come with any additional face parts. This is because Samus wears a helmet throughout, of course. Instead, the extra parts are designed to showcase different poses or actions. There are two beam effects to show her firing her gun. You can also make it look like she found and is shooting missiles. One part includes a thumbs up hand for her left hand. You also get a Morph Ball.

With the Zero Suit Samus, we get various head parts in addition to other accessories. Smiling and stern face plates are included. You can also swap the hair pieces so she can be displayed with either short hair or a long-haired ponytail. Her right hand thumbs up part is included. So are a gun and replica of Adam’s helmet to hold.

Good Smile Company announced it opened standard pre-orders for the 100th Hatsune Miku Nendoroid, known as the 100th Adventure version figure, ahead of its October 2025 debut in Japan. It will cost ￥8,000 (~$55). This comes after the early-bird purchase option in March 2025. As a reminder, orders for it aren’t available on the US site due to the Trump tariffs.

As usual, this is a Nendoroid with three face plates. The standard one features her smiling. An excited one features a more enthusiastic smile and blush on her cheeks. The third leaves her looking concerned, with her eyes entirely black. She comes with a bag she can carry, removable hat, map she can hold, and small gold Miku statue as a treasure.

There’s also a promotional trailer on YouTube that shows how the official Tsuki no Usagi art inspired the design for the Hatsune Miku figure, highlighted some details, and showed her “finding” a golden Miku treasure.

Good Smile Company and Square Enix announced that there will be Dragon Quest model kits based on the Dracky and Slimes. Three different slime variants will be available, though we’ll only get one version of the flying-type critter. The bat-like buddy is most expensive at ￥2,200 (~$15), while the slimes are ￥1,760 (~$12). They’ll launch in Japan in December 2025, and we could see them worldwide after.

The three Dragon Quest Slimes are a standard blue one, an orange She-Slime that is referred to as a Red Slime, and a Lime Slime. The blue and orange ones are on green meadow bases that make them look like they’re sitting in a field, while the green one is on a gray, “stone” dungeon base. The initial photos show them assembled, then unassembled. The runners show each one is made up of only seven parts designed to snap together. The bases also can snap together, so the characters could be displayed side-by-side.

As for the Dracky, it appears on a dungeon base. Said base also can interlock with the others in this series. The runners for the model kit aren’t shown.

The Dragon Quest Dracky and Slime, Lime Slime, and She-Slime (Red Slime) model kits will debut in Japan in December 2025 before launching worldwide, and pre-orders are open until June 25, 2025. On May 7, 2025, the Weibo page for Love and Deepspace confirmed Infold and Good Smile Company would team up for Nendoroid figures based on the cast, and now reports and official images are coming in sharing that Xavier is the first one. So far, the only store that ships worldwide that is selling it is Aitai Kuji, as even the Japanese branch of the Good Smile Company store isn’t selling him as of 12pm ET on May 12, 2025. He will apparently cost ¥7,500 (~$51) and release in October 2025 in Japan. [Thanks, Kamisatoya and Audrey Lamsam!]

Xavier is one of the three love interests that first debuted in the Love and Deepspace otome game at launch. (Sylus and Caleb appeared months later.) He’s a Deepspace Hunter who works alongside the heroine. He’s known for using the power of light to attack enemies, thanks to his Evol, and uses a sword in combat. 

The Nendoroid of Xavier will acknowledge details about him from Love and Deepspace. Given he’s always nodding off, there will be one face plate showing him asleep that can be used with an optional eyemask accessory. Another faceplate features him smiling, while a third shows him in the midst of a fight with two cuts on his face. He’ll come with a sword that he can equip. Also, in a nod to the exclusive plush you can get with him when you head to the Claw Machine in-game, a Bunbun white rabbit accessory will be included for him to hold.

It is unknown which character could appear next, as the Weibo announcement image did show all five silhouettes. The first teaser image, which you can see below, featured silhouettes of Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, and Caleb from left to right. So if the companies go in order and start with the first three bachelors that appeared in the game, we could see Zayne or Rafayel next. 

The Xavier Love and Deepspace Nendoroid will apparently launch in October 2025 in Asia, with other figures planned after. The game is available on mobile devices.

Good Smile Company made an EVO Japan 2025 announcement, and it is that the company is preparing a Mai Shiranui plush based on her Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves design. There is no release window for the item yet. 

Since this Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves plush is still early in development, there’s no photo of a prototype. Instead, Good Smile Company only shared concept art of the character. Mai Shiranui will be wearing her new black outfit, and she’ll hold her fan in her right hand. She’ll have her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

While we don’t know exactly how big this Mai Shiranui plush will be, we have some idea based on other plushies released by Good Smile Company. It appears to be in the same style as past Evangelion and Delicious in Dungeon characters. This means she will likely be between five to seven inches and 130mm to 180mm tall. Also, these characters in this line tend to always be made of polyester and cotton.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Mai Shiranui plush is in development.

Good Smile Company announced how the tariffs enacted by President Donald Trump affect Nendoroids, figmas, figures, and other pieces of video game and anime merchandise. It won’t take pre-orders for items, is delayed shipments for in-progress pre-orders, increased prices on its storefront, and items won’t be tax exempt under the de minimis tax exemption system, according to messages on the US and Japanese sites.

The announcement on the Japanese site ended up being a little more detailed, with more exact dates for the changes and locations. It noted this applies to the US, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. If a product is already in-stock, it can be purchased. However, it might cost more now. Starting immediately, pre-orders are closed to folks in those regions and shipments to the US are delayed. On the Japanese site, it specifically stated this runs April 24, 2025 through May 14, 2025. On the US one, there’s no end-date.

In of the possible tariffs being applied and other price changes, that varies. The US site said prices already changed. It also promised to alter that if situations change. The Japanese site said the tariffs starting at 145% are expected to start “on or after May 2, 2025.” It also noted that since the de minimis tax exemption will start, that means the order will be taxed even if is under $800. The site also said those who order items in the US need to pay the tariffs through customs or the company (such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL) that delivers them. 

Good Smile Company game and anime Nendoroids, figures, figmas, and merchandise aren’t the only products being hit by the Trump tariffs. Square Enix halted pre-orders from its official US storefront. Switch 2 pre-orders ended up delayed, and some of the peripherals, accessories, and amiibo prices changed as a result.

Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for a Fire Emblem: Awakening Lucina figure, and she’ll be able to wear her mask and appear with short hair to put on her Marth disguise. It will cost ￥31,680 (~$223). She’s expected to debut in June 2026 in Japan, with a worldwide release following after that.

Lucina is wearing the her outfit she’s best known for from the game. She also wields the Parallel Falchion. The pose makes it look as though she is about to strike with it. Good Smile Company’s product page mentions she comes with the additional head parts to change her appearance from her standard look with long hair to her Marth disguise. However, it is unknown if this means you could display her with long hair and a mask or short hair and no mask. The only initial photos show her with long hair and no mask or short hair with a mask.

This isn’t the only time Good Smile Company released a figure of the character. Lucina is also part of its figma line. It even rereleased it, due to its popularity.

Good Smile Company opened orders for two Evangelion Plamax models of Rei Ayanami again, and as before each one lets someone build a figure of the heroine from the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. They are identical to the original run. This means one involves the traditional version of Rei Ayanami with short hair, while the other includes the long hair version that appeared later. Each one costs ￥7,700, regardless of the hairstyle. Both kits will ship in Japan in October 2025, with a worldwide release following after. The first run shipped in April 2024.

In each case, the model of Rei will involve her in her trademark white plugsuit. The only difference between the two is the length of her hair. The runners for the kit will already be in the correct colors, so you won’t need to do any large scale painting, however be advised that some finer details might require that. Good Smile Company noted it is ready for anyone of any experience level so it should snap together. I would recommend getting nippers for the smaller parts and to perhaps have some glue on hand just in case.

Both model kits also have their own Good Smile Company Online Store exclusive purchase bonus. Each one comes with an additional runner with an extra hair part that cane be swapped in for the base models. These are still short or long hair for Rei Ayanami figures, but instead of being solid they are translucent options for the Evangelion models.

Good Smile Company announced it will sell two Hatsune Miku Maneki Neko Nendoroids, with one being an old lucky cat version of the character and the other being a new figure. The old one is a rerelease of figure 1,777. The new one is a Black Version that is number 2,750.  Both are expected to appear in Japan in October 2025, and they are only available in the Japanese storefront for ￥7,900 each. 

Both of the Hatsune Miku figures feature the Vocaloid figure in outfits inspired by Maneki Neko lucky cats seen in Japan. Each one features three face plates. The original one has a standard one, one in which she’s smiling and winking, and a third enthusiastic one with eyes squished shut. The new one has a relaxed smiling face plate, one in which she is sleepy and yawning, and a third sly one. The older one comes with a gold suitcase with leak design and a golden leak. The new one has a cat uchiwa fan. Both feature parts to make them kneel down and perform the trademark lucky cat pose.

Yet another Fire Emblem: Three Houses Pop Up Parade figure got a release date, and we’ll see the Golden Deer resident Hilda Valentine Goneril in 2025. She’ll debut first in Japan in October 2025. Worldwide shipments roll out after that, which means she should be in the US by or before Q1 2026. She costs ￥5,500/$52.99.

Since this is another one of the Pop Up Parade Fire Emblem: Three Houses figures, we know a few things about Hilda already. She’s a non-standard figure, so she doesn’t fall into any of the typical scale sizes. Instead, she’ll be between six and seven inches tall. She’ll also be wearing her Garreg Mach Monastery academy uniform, as this depicts her before the timeskip. Finally, there are no additional parts, so the pose you see is the one you get.

Hilda isn’t the latest one in this batch of characters to show up. Dorothea Arnault and Sylvain Jose Gautier ed her. All three were revealed at the same time at WonHobby 39 in February 2025. Since their pre-orders opened earlier, they’ll appear sooner. Dorothea is expected to launch in Japan sometime in August 2025, followed by Sylvain in September 2025. 

The Fire Emblem: Three Houses Hilda Valentine Goneril Pop Up Parade figure will debut in October 2025 in Japan, then launch worldwide by Q1 2026. Pre-orders are open until May 7, 2025. The game is available on the Nintendo Switch now.
