Frontwing and Bushiroad will release the PC visual novel Perennial Dusk: Kinsenka worldwide on May 29, 2025, however those getting game from Steam will need to an optional Expansion Patch for the full experience. Ahead of its official debut, the official site offered access to the update, explained the situation, and made it available via Google Drive.

Frontwing and Bushiroad cited “relevant ethical standards worldwide” as the reasons behind the Expansion Patch release, and the two companies specifically referenced the Steam version as the PC storefront that would need it. It didn’t explain what changes might be present. It only noted that the “complete story” is available when it is applied. It also noted the patch is in an .exe file that will apply it after being run. The “mature content” warning on Steam specifically cited “very strong violence” and “blood,” so it is possible that this patch exists due to the brutal situations depicted in the story.

Perennial Dusk: Kinsenka is a kinetic visual novel, which means there are no choices and only one route to follow. It also seems it will be something of a tragedy, as it follows young Maledict Exorcists dealing with malevolent entities for the sake of the innocent. Sai Tachibana happens upon the cursed Matsuri Benio and finds himself falling in love with her. However, her past haunts her and her present involves working to fight Maledicts with her “gift.” As a result, he finds himself becoming closer to a number of individuals like her and himself living at Maisoncycle sans Nom.

Bushiroad announced that The Ancient Magus' Bride Midsummer Pilgrimage game will come out on October 2, 2025. The game will be available worldwide for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. [Thanks, PR Times!]

The Ancient Magus' Bride Midsummer Pilgrimage will be a visual novel game, and it is being developed by mebius. It seems like the game will feature a new story with new characters appearing. So far, two new characters have been introduced. One of the new characters, Sol, is a man with a face covered by fossilized snails and hairy limbs. He is a non-human being, but he isn’t a fae either.

Letty is a girl with amnesia that Sol encounters in London in the middle of the night. It was also revealed that Letty is voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro. Suzushiro is known for lending her voice to Hanya in the Japanese dub of Honkai: Star Rail, Shinigami in Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, and Kei Shirogane in the Kaguya-sama: Love Is War anime adaptation.

Furthermore, the opening movie and theme song for The Ancient Magus' Bride Midsummer Pilgrimage was also shown alongside its release date. The title of the song is “Sagashimono,” and it is performed by Reche. Check it out here:

The original The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga follows orphaned Japanese high school student Chise Hatori as she auctions herself in order to be cared by someone else. The imposing magus Elias Ainsworth purchases Chise for five million pounds and takes her to London, where her new life as the apprentice of a fae creature starts.

Cover and Bushiroad shared previews for some of the cards that will be available in the new Hololive Official Card Game booster pack, Curious Universe. The companies will release the new booster pack in Japan and Asia in late June 2025.

The new booster pack will add cards based on more Vtubers from the multinational group. The preview list features Natsuiro Matsuri, Oozora Subaru, Yukihana Lamy, Momosuzu Nene, La+ Darknesss, and Hakui Koyori from the original JP generation groups, as well as Ichijou Ririka and Juufuutei Raden from the newer DEV_IS group. It also includes Koseki Bijou, Cecilia Immergreen, Shiori Novella, and Raora Panthera from Hololive English, with the two Indonesian Vtubers Anya Melfissa and Kaela Kovalskia completing the lineup.

In addition, Curious Universe will have new cards for nine Vtubers who have already been featured in prior starter decks and booster packs. The Vtubers in question will be Shirakami Fubuki, Murasaki Shion, Ookami Mio, and Houshou Marine from Hololive JP, as well as Moona Hoshinova, Kureiji Ollie, and Pavolia Reine from Hololive ID. Calliope and IRyS from the English branch will complete the list.

The Curious Universe booster pack for Hololive Official Card Game will be available in Japanese language on Friday, June 20, 2025. A global English localization of the cards is also in the works.

Cover and Bushiroad have released the third wave of starter decks for the Hololive Official Card Game. There are three new decks available, and each of them respectively features the Japanese Hololive Vtubers Todoroki Hajime, Kazama Iroha, and Shiranui Flare.

Just like the first two waves, the Hololive Official Card Game starter decks are available at ¥990 (~$6) per package. Each deck contains a total of 71 cards, which consist of an Oshi HoloMem Card of the featured Vtuber, 50 cards that comprise the main deck, and 20 single-colored Yell Cards.

In addition, Cover revealed the third booster pack for the card game, which will be titled "Elite Spark." It will release the new booster pack on March 21, 2025. This pack will also be the first to feature yellow-colored cards that are also included in the newly released Shiranui Flare starter deck.

Cover and Bushiroad have announced that they will produce an English version of the Hololive Official Card Game. The companies will release the localized cards worldwide with a focus on the Anglosphere within 2025.

The news post on the title's official Japanese website noted that the original Japanese version released in September 2024 was made available in not only Japan but also in the rest of Asia. The new press releases added that the companies will sell the English cards and hold events worldwide, with a specific focus on North America.

As this announcement is still very fresh, it is yet to be known how the English version will catch up with the original Japanese release. Cover and Bushiroad released the second wave of starter decks and booster packs for the trading card game in December 2024 in Japan. As of the second wave, the starter decks available for this TCG feature the following five Japanese Vtubers: Tokino Sora, AZKi, Nakiri Ayame, Nekomata Okayu, and Yuzuki Choco.

The companies have also set up a new official X for the English version of Hololive Official Card Game, with the first announcement tweet as follows:

Bushiroad has confirmed the full release date for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. It will release the new fighting game for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC simultaneously worldwide on July 17, 2025.

The company also announced plans to gradually add more playable characters beyond the 16 fighters available at launch via DLC. Neferpitou will be the first post-launch character set to appear in Fall 2025. The same first season will also gradually feature more new content every following season until Summer 2026.

Bushiroad has also revealed physical and digital bonuses for purchasing the fighting game. The physical limited edition will contain serial codes for the above season and additional in-game skins for Kurapika and Hisoka. It will also have a special booklet and acrylic stands of Gon and Killua.

Meanwhile, digital pre-orders for the game will net a different bonus skin for each platform. Players can get an alternate skin for Gon on the Switch, Killua on the PS5, and Hisoka for the PC version that will appear on Steam.

In addition, Bushiroad has ed a release date announcement trailer for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact in Japanese on its YouTube channel. An English version of the trailer is also available on Arc System Works' American channel:

Bushiroad announced that Cardfight Vanguard Dear Days 2 is now available worldwide. People can now find the new video game adaptation of the Cardfight!! Vanguard TCG series on Nintendo Switch and PC.

This game is a direct sequel to the first Dear Days, which Bushiroad released in late 2022. The first game's debutant character Yuki Ichidoji will return in the sequel's story, and she will also be accompanied by the brand-new character Otowa Dosaki. Dear Days 2 also newly features the additions of characters from the Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ anime show that launched in 2024.

The new Cardfight!! Vanguard video game is available with Japanese and English language . The base game contains over 3,000 cards, which players can incorporate into their decks based on the DZ series' standard rule format.

Just like the first game, Bushiroad released Dear Days 2 with a season that covers future DLC packs. The base game is available in the US at $64.99. The Card is purchasable either separately at $65.22 or bundled with the full game via the $130.46 Digital Deluxe Edition. The includes four sets of additional cards, which will be gradually released by Bushiroad and concluded by the end of 2025.

Bushiroad announced that Kite will the roster of Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact as a playable fighter. Shuichi Ikeda will reprise his role for the game.

Kite is a Hunter and Ging’s student. Those who only watched the 2011 version of the anime would only see him after the Greed Island arc. However, in the manga and original anime, Kite actually made an appearance before Gon even left Whale Island to take the Hunter Exam.

The Nen x Impact version of Kite seems to play like a zoner. Most of his moves use projectiles to keep the opponent at bay. His Aura Arts, Silent Waltz, can break through their defense, giving Kite the opening he needs to get in his combos. In the anime and manga, Kite’s Crazy Slots conjured a roulette that would give him a random weapon to use. Crazy Slots does not have that RNG aspect in Nen x Impact. Instead, Kite only ever uses the carbine, with Silent Waltz reserved for the aforementioned Aura Arts.

Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact is an fighting game for the popular anime and manga series, Hunter x Hunter. A total of sixteen characters will appear at launch. Aside from the main characters like Gon and Killua, you’ll be able to play as people like Feitan, Genthru, Bisky, and Meruem.

Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact will come out in Summer 2025 for the PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.

Bushiroad released more information about the Love Live Series Official Card Game. The company revealed plans to hold events around the Love Live TCG launch in February 2025, while announcing the release dates for new booster packs throughout the Spring season of 2025.

booster packs featuring Love Live! Superstar!! will appear on April 19, 2025. A pack will cost 300 yen with three cards; at least two of them are guaranteed to be glittering. The company will also release the second regular booster pack titled "Next Step" featuring the Hasunosora, Aqours, and Liella! groups on May 31, 2025. The latter will have 500-yen packs containing five cards with at least three glittering cards.

Bushiroad will also work with Animate to hold a temporary pop-up shop dedicated to the Love Live TCG at the Gamers store in Ikebukuro Parco from February 8, 2025—the official launch date of the TCG—until February 16, 2025. The company will also gradually hold minor tournaments at card game shops across Japan starting from the TCG's launch in February 2025. These tournaments will culminate in a major tournament scheduled around the Fall season of 2025.

The first starter decks and booster packs for Love Live Series Official Card Game will formally appear on February 8, 2025.

Bushiroad has confirmed that it will release Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact in the Summer of 2025. It has started narrowing down the release window for the new fighting game after delaying it from 2024.

The company had previously stated that it would release Nen x Impact in 2024. However, in late September 2024, Bushiroad announced that it delayed the game's release to 2025. The wait will be worth it for fighting game enthusiasts though, as the company noted the implementation of the highly-requested rollback netcode as the primary reason for the delay.

In the same press release, Bushiroad published more details about the fighting game's demo booth at Jump Festa 2025, which will take place in Makuhari Messe on December 21-22, 2025. While the demo will only have ten playable characters, all sixteen launch characters will appear via memorabilia badges that players can get after playing it. The booth's staff will let players choose from between the two boxes to pick one of the badges with ten different designs at random.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will be available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the Summer of 2025. The game will appear worldwide with Japanese voiceovers and subtitles in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Bushiroad has announced that it will release new Weiss Schwarz Booster Packs and Trial Decks featuring cards from Goddess of Victory: Nikke on December 13, 2024. Shift Up's mobile game will soon the ever-growing list of franchises featured in the massive crossover TCG, which range from anime and game series to Vtuber groups like Hololive Production.

The trial deck will cost 1,650 yen, while a single booster pack containing eight cards will be purchasable at 440 yen. The Nikke collection will comprise a total of 115 normal cards and 174 parallel cards. Some of the character cards will have new illustrations and/or autographs by their respective Japanese voice actresses.

In the same press release, Bushiroad confirmed that it will also release the new cards internationally. The Weiss Schwarz Nikke cards will appear in not only Japanese but also Korean, English, and Simplified Chinese.

The Korean version in particular will launch simultaneously with the original Japanese release. This is partially due to Nikke's development team at Shift Up being based in South Korea. It will also mark the first time ever Bushiroad is releasing Weiss Schwarz TCG in Korean.

The new Weiss Schwarz Trial Deck and Booster Packs featuring Goddess of Victory: Nikke will be available first in Japan and South Korea on Friday, December 13, 2024. The English and Simplified Chinese versions of the cards will also appear at a later time.

A new demo for Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact will appear at Jump Festa 2025. People attending the event can try the demo at the Bushiroad booth and will receive a special novelty pin badge for playing.

The demo for the 3v3 team-based 2D fighter will offer 10 characters. Meanwhile, from the opening animation of the game revealed back in July 2024, it seems like the full release of the game will include 16 playable fighters.

Back in 2023, Bushiroad announced a Chainsaw Man event for BanG Dream: Girls Band Party based on the anime and manga and its characters. Now, the crossover will finally appear worldwide. There’s no exact date yet, but the December 1, 2024 social media announcement said it is “coming soon.”  

Since the event already appeared in the Japanese version of the game in June 2023, we know what it entails. There are two covers of songs from the anime. One is “Chainsaw Blood,” which is performed by Afterglow. The other is “Fight Song,” which is sung by Roselia.

As you play, you can also get versions of existing characters who are dressed up like cast from the Chainsaw Man anime. The two we’ll be able to earn are Morfonica’s Rui as Aki and Poppin’ Party’s Rimi as Kobeni. If you go through the gacha, you can get Afterglow’s Ran as Denji, Morfonica’s Toko as Power, and Roselia’s Sayo as Makima. 

As for Chainsaw Man, we should get some news about what’s next for the anime adaptations and manga soon. It will be part of Jump Festa 2025. Mappa is currently working on Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc, so an update on that seems likely.

BanG Dream: Girls Band Party is on mobile devices, and the Chainsaw Man event comes to the global version of the game “soon.” The Chainsaw Man anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Progress Orders is a fantasy RPG in which you the guild, Legion, in search of your grandfather. In exchange for Legion finding information on your grandfather, you decide to work there and gain the Clairvoyance ability. This power allows you to and befriend your guildmates and other adventurers. Depending on Legion’s reputation, you’ll be able to add more powerful and experienced adventurers to your roster.

So far we only know two cast : Shinsuke Sugawara (who voices the male protagonist) and Yukari Anzai (who voices the female one). Sugawara previously appeared in Reign of the Seven Spellblades as Guy Greenwood. Meanwhile, Anzai’s most prominent role was Sanae in Ippon Again!.

Yoshifumi Hashimoto is a video game producer, director, and writer who’s worked on many different games and series over the years. He’s produced multiple games in the Story of Seasons series and the Rune Factory series. His most recent game is Rear Sekai, or Elrentaros Wanderings, which came out in August 2024.

Progress Orders will come out on April 10, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam.

Genda GiGO Entertainment has announced two collaboration events with renowned IPs that will run throughout the 2024-2025 holiday season. The company will hold events featuring The Quintessential Quintuplets and Genshin Impact at GiGO arcade centers across Japan.

The Quintessential Quintuplets event will run first in collaboration with Bushiroad on November 30, 2024. The companies will place five new scale figures featuring each of the Nakano quintuplets (Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki) as crane game prizes. For every 500 yen spent on the crane game, people can receive one of the six anime illustration cards at random while supplies last.

GiGO will also work with miHoYo to gradually release Genshin Impact merchandise in its crane games starting from December 7, 2024. The items will range from acrylic stands to drink tumblers featuring multiple characters, with a specific focus on Wriothesley, Clorinde, Charlotte, and Sigewinne.

The arcade center will hand over a random free novelty item for people who spend 500 yen on the crane games, just like the above Quintessential Quintuplets event. However, the Genshin Impact event will also feature character-branded taiyaki cakes and drinks with bonus coaster mats featuring the game's characters in a similar fashion to Atlus' Persona series.

The Quintessential Quintuplets character figure campaign will launch first in GiGO arcade centers across Japan from November 30 until December 29, 2024. The Genshin Impact collaboration event will follow suit from December 7, 2024, until January 26, 2025.
