Prime 1 Studio revealed a new figure of Gehrman from Bloodborne that costs $1,299/207,790 yen. The figure is now available for pre-order, and it is set to release sometime between August and November 2026. More information on its release will appear in the future.

The figure depicts Gehrman as he appears during his boss fight at the end of the game, standing up from his wheelchair and wielding his Burial Blade scythe trick weapon and a blunderbuss. His hunting garb, coat, and top hat are sculpted with a high level of detail. The figure stands at 68 cm (~27 inches) tall and it weighs approximately 10.4 kg (or about 23 pounds).

Bonus parts for the Burial Blade weapon are also included with the figure. They allow for Gehrman to carry it in its default scythe mode or its trick curved sword mode. The part itself is Gehrman’s right hand, and the blade cannot be detached from it. The base is modeled after the garden where his boss fight takes place at the end of the game, surrounded by the fences and white flowers in the arena, and decorated with tree roots and the graves set around the Hunter’s Dream.

This is the fifth Bloodborne figure released by Prime 1 Studio, with other figures based on the Hunter player, Lady Maria, and Eileen the Crow. The Doll from the Hunter’s Dream received its own Prime 1 Studio figure on 2024, and it is the only pre-existent Bloodborne figure to still have units available.

SuperGroupies is set to release a new line of Bloodborne merchandise. However, this won't be limited to apparel, such as previous collaborations that included the likes of a watch and bag. This time around consumers will be able to get their hands on a wax seal set, wine class, and replica table clock through the Bloodborne and SuperGroupies collaboration.

The replica table clock is modeled after the Astral Clocktower as shown in the Bloodborne The Old Hunters DLC, whereas the wax seal set comes with all of the bells and whistles to actually create a wax seal. This includes the parts needed to melt down individual blocks of wax, and the seal itself — which features the Hunter's Mark insignia. The wine class features the crest of Cainhurst, with the final item being a keychain with a Saw Hunter Badge charm.

Lance McDonald, creator of the Bloodborne 60fps patch, announced it is no longer available due to a takedown notice from Sony Interactive Entertainment. The fan-made patch affected the PS4 game and also offered for the PS4 Pro. The game released 10 years ago in March 2015.

Here is McDonald’s statement. In it, the creator noted links to the Bloodborne 60fps patch were removed immediately after Sony sent out the . 

As a follow-up to that, McDonald also shared a photo taken with  Shuhei Yoshida. Yoshida used to be the Sony Interactive Entertainment president, as well as Head of Independent Developer Initiative, before departing the company on January 15, 2025. He was made aware of McDonald’s patch at that time.

In case you didn’t get a chance to see how the Bloodborne 60fps patch worked in-action, McDonald shared an over 15 minute showcase on YouTube that highlighted how the update worked.

Since its March 2015 launch, we haven’t seen Bloodborne again. FromSoftware and Sony haven’t announced any remaster project, sequel, or revival. Fans have stepped up to keep it alive in ways, such as the Bloodborne 60fps patch and fan game Bloodborne Kart. The latter ended up being renamed and released as Nightmare Kart.  

Bloodborne is available on the PS4.

TORCH TORCH, Japanese clothing and accessory retailer, announced the Bloodborne Hunter Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge is back in stock. It will cost 26,400 yen or $170. However, unlike the previous release of this replica, it is only available to obtain at the PARCO locations in Shibuya and Shinsaibashi. Which means this re-release is limited to Japan.

The badge itself is made out of silver, whereas the chain it comes with is made of brass. Unlike previous Bloodborne Badge replicas this only comes in one size. That said, it's still fit to wear as a necklace, or any other kind of accessory. The jewel in the center of the pendant is hand cut, with the mold of the badge hand sculpted.

Previous badges created by TORCH TORCH include a Cainhurt Badge, which came in two sizes. It was originally released in 2020. TORCH TORCH has gone on to re-release some of these items, such as the Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge, which originally released in 2022.

Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed via the Japanese PlayStation.Blog that it is gradually releasing six video game soundtracks on digital music platforms like Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify in early September 2024. The company will include soundtracks from classic titles like the Arc the Lad series, Wild Arms, and PoPoLoCrois Story.

The Arc the Lad soundtracks are headlining the lineup in this announcement. The Arc the Lad Sound Track Complete is now available on Spotify. Its original physical album consisted of two discs that respectively contained tracks from the 1995 RPG and its 1996 sequel Arc the Lad II.

Sony will also add the Wild Arms Complete Tracks album to the digital platforms. The album features tracks from the PS1 RPG that came out first in Japan in 1996. The other classic game ing the digital soundtrack list will be PoPoLoCrois Story, which also came out in 1996.

The above three classic titles will not be the only soundtracks Sony will release on digital platforms in early September 2024. The company will also include the original soundtrack of Shadow of the Colossus, the 2005 PS2 game that also received a remake on the PS4 in 2018. The 2015 PS4 entry Bloodborne and its DLC expansion The Old Hunters will complete the lineup.

At SDCC 2024, Gecco offered an update on its Bloodborne Amygdala figure designed to be hung on a wall. The new version has extra eyes and hair on its head, compared to the one shown in February 2024.

The design of the wall hanging is supposed to resemble the Amygdala’s Chamber area in Nightmare Frontier where the Great One could be fought. We can see the boss emerging from a frame and on a tower. This latest prototype seems to have the same number of hands and tentacles as the original. However, it also has bulging eyes and spikes that weren’t present in the past sample. There are also more details on the back of the beast and on the tower.

To compare, here’s the February 2024 prototype of Amygdala. At the time, Gecco noted that was only a “temporary 3D print-out.” It wasn’t a full prototype.

Bloodborne is available worldwide for the PS4, and Gecco hasn't shared a possible release window for the Amygdala Wall-Hanger Statue figure just yet. While there's no new game in that line, the PC fanmade title Nightmare Kart is inspired by it.

Future Press announced the release of the Bloodborne Complete Edition Guide, coming in September 2024. This special edition guide also contains insights on the game’s development direct from developers at FromSoftware.

The Bloodborne Complete Edition Guide will feature detailed guides to every aspect of Bloodborne, written with behind-the-scenes information from the developers. The book will contain multiple sections, breaking down locations, creatures, equipment and NPCs in each. There will also be a section dedicated to teaching new players about how the game’s various systems work. All these sections are informed by FromSoftware themselves, offering new insights into Yharnam.

In addition to the new guide, the 744-page book will contain an exclusive interview with director Hidetaka Miyazaki, a detailed lore section and a concept art gallery. The book is available to pre-order now from the Future Press online store and will release on September 30, 2024. It will be available for $59.99, £49.99 or €54.99.

Despite releasing in 2014, Bloodborne continues to be hugely popular. In addition to the Complete Edition Guide releasing soon, the game continues to receive official merchandise and comic book adaptations. The recently released Nightmare Kart also began life as a Bloodborne fan project before Sony requested the removal of copyrighted elements.

SuperGroupies announced that the two watches in the Bloodborne apparel and fashion collection have been restocked. The SuperGroupies Bloodborne watches cost $270/¥29,700 yen each, and they are now available from the North American and Japanese storefront.

There are two models available, with one of them inspired by the character of Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower. Maria’s signature Rakuyo trick weapon appears with each blade as the the hour and minute hands of the watch. Various motifs from the Astral Clocktower itself appear on the watch, and small red accents are also featured alongside the golden engravings. In addition, the caption “Only an honest death will cure you now. Liberate you, from your wild curiosity” is engraved on the back of the watch.

Meanwhile, the second model is based on the Hunter playable character. The iconic Saw Cleaver trick weapon is featured in the watch, with the saw blade acting as the hand marking the hours and the minute hand being the handle. Furthermore, the engravings used to indicate the hours are inspired by various Caryll Runes as well as the symbol for the Blood Echoes.

Prime 1 Studio will hold a special exhibit at its Shinjuku Gallery Shop from February 2024 to early March 2024. Statues from Capcom's Devil May Cry series will appear as one of the main highlights in the exhibit. It will also feature statues from FromSoftware's Demon's Souls and Bloodborne, as well as the Prisma Wing line of anime character statues.

The studio will showcase the Devil May Cry 3 statues of Dante and Vergil. It will also include the Devil May Cry 5 versions of the characters, in addition to Nero and V. It encourages fans of the game series to compare Dante and Vergil's looks between the third and fifth mainline entries.

In addition to Devil May Cry, Prime 1 Studio will showcase statues of the Penetrator from Demon's Souls, as well as The Doll, The Hunter, Eileen the Crow, and Lady Maria from Bloodborne.

The studio will also feature over twenty anime character statues from its Prisma Wing lineup. The latter will include the titular character of Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie and Asuna from Sword Art Online.

All statues that will appear in the exhibit have been made available for pre-orders worldwide for quite some time. As of January 26, 2024, the Devil May Cry 5 statues of Nero, V, and Vergil are still available to order. The Devil May Cry 3 versions of Dante and Vergil require new buyers to enter waitlists and hope for several existing orders to be canceled. The 1/2 scale statue of Devil May Cry 5's Dante has completely sold out and is no longer available.

The Prime 1 Studio Shinjuku Gallery Shop is located on the 7th floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex in Tokyo, Japan. The new showcase featuring statues from the Devil May Cry and FromSoftware's Soulsborne series will run at the store from February 2, 2024, to March 6, 2024.

SuperGroupies announced that the Bloodborne Hunter coat and other merchandise based on Lady Maria and the Doll are back. Six items inspired by the FromSoftware game are now being sold again in Japan.

While these items are available in the Japanese storefront, they haven’t returned in the US one. However, WorldShipping does allow people to buy from the Japanese site and ship it worldwide.

All of these items first ended up announced back in July 2023 and are different than the 2020 collection. Here’s a full list of all the items you can get again alongside the Bloodborne Hunter coat, as well as their prices.

Soon Bloodborne Kart will be real, as the PC fan game has a release date. People will be able to race around Yharnam on January 31, 2024. 

To go along with the release date announcement, the team behind the project confirmed some of the features people will see in the full game. As a reminder and as the title suggests, Bloodborne Kart is a racing game. It features a demake look, as well as both single and multiplayer modes. The single-player involves a campaign with bosses, while people can play in split-screen or VS Battle multiplayer. There are also 12 playable characters and 16 maps, with one of the more recent reveals being Eileen the Crow.

Here’s the new Bloodborne Kart release date trailer. It features narration from The Doll, before revealing that her monologue is due to her placing first in a race. From there, gameplay footage of various racers and their cars are shown as they go through various courses.

If the team’s work looks familiar, you might recall them from Bloodborne PSX. That allows people to go through a few hours of the game on PCs.

Bloodborne Kart will appear on PCs on January 31, 2024. The original Bloodborne is available on the PlayStation 4.

Fashion brand SuperGroupies opened pre-orders for a collection of merchandise inspired by Bloodborne characters. The collection includes watches, wallets, and bags inspired by the Hunter and Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower and a scarf inspired by The Doll. The new items are available in the US store until July 30, 2023 and in the Global Store until July 31, 2023. This is the second collaboration SuperGroupies held with Bloodborne,m having previously released a collection of items back in 2020.

The Hunter items include a watch, a coat, a cross-body bag and a wallet. Several items, such as the coat and bag, feature a lining adorned with Caryll runes and a special woven tag featuring silhouettes of iconic Bloodborne weaponry. The wallet is embossed with the same runes on parts of the leather flaps. The Lady Maria-inspired items include a watch, a bag and a long wallet. Instead of the Caryll runes, these items feature distinct touches like her lumenflower brooch on the wallet or a woven tag depicting her weapons. The final item is an oversized scarf inspired by the cape worn by the Doll.

Titan Comics announced another run of Bloodborne comic books. Bloodborne: The Bleak Dominion will be a four-issue story. The first issue will be released at comic book shops on September 13, 2023.

Bloodborne: The Bleak Dominion will star the hunters Gretchen and Abraham as they search for their protégé in the chalice dungeons. In typical Bloodborne fashion, many horrors await them on their journey.

It will be written by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Piotr Kowalski. Cullen Bunn is the creator of The Damned and The Sixth Gun. He also wrote stories for Deadpool and Sinestro. Piotr Kowalski is a Polish comic book artist who worked on Dark Tower, Robocop and Marvel Knights: Hulk.

Bloodborne: The Bleak Dominion is the sixth Bloodborne comic book adaptation from Titan Comics. Previous stories have included The Death of Sleep, The Healing Thirst, A Song of Crows, The Veil Torn Asunder and Lady of Lanterns. A preview comic based on the series was released for Free Comic Book Day 2022.

Bloodborne originally released for the PS4 in 2015. It was developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

The high-end figure brand, Prime 1 Studio, announced a new Bloodborne statue based on The Doll, the character residing in The Hunter’s Dream responsible for leveling up. The figure is releasing as part of the Ultimate Masterline series. The statue will be of a massive 1/4th in scale, totaling around 19 inches in height, and will weigh nearly 40 pounds. It will cost $1,199. The expected release date is between April and June 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Pre-orders for the figure began on January 26, 2023. You can pre-order from the Prime 1 Studio official website. The figure is modeled using polystone, and it combines real clothing materials for The Doll’s outfit to create a realistic look. Other features include swappable arm parts to alternate between two different poses and a lantern with a built-in light function. The bonus version of the statue includes a miniature of the messengers, the mysterious creatures that allow players to leave messages in other player’s worlds.

Another one of the Bloodborne Kart characters showed up, and Eileen the Crow will be racing through the streets of Yharnam. The developers behind the fan-made project shared a new look at the character. That means people can see her in-action, as well as get a look at her Crowfeather Motorcycle.

First, here is Eileen on the Crowfeather Motorcycle. As a nod to her avian aesthetic, the motorcycle exhaust pipes look like bird wings. Finally, Gone shared a look at the selection screens for Bloodborne Kart characters and vehicles. In addition to Eileen, people can choose Baby Mergo, The Doll, Father Gascoigne, Gehrman, and Hunter in this build. The available vehicles in that video are Baby Carriage, Crowfeather Motorcycle, Horseless Carriage, Hunter Kart, Hunter Motorcycle, and Motorized Wheelchair.
