How to Do Genshin Impact Age Verification on a PS4 or PS5

HoYoVerse started requiring Genshin Impact USplayers to go through an age verification process to continue playing the game in May 2025, but PS4 and PS5 owners might be a bit confused about the process. This is because those of us playing on other platforms got emails to the address tied to our HoYoVerse . Fortunately, getting over this hurdle and ensuring s aren’t suspended or deleted is easy.

How do I complete the Genshin Impact age verification process on a PS4 or PS5?

All you need to do is head to your console and to the game. After you start, providing you any necessary updates, a prompt will automatically appear. HoYoVerse actually spawns an age verification box immediately.

To get verified and ensure you don’t lose access to your characters and progress, provide the month and year that you were born. Then, press X to confirm. You’ll also get an additional prompt with the new of service for the game, which you’ll also need to agree to in order to keep playing.

How do I my age for Genshin Impact otherwise?

For that, you need to go to the official website for all HoYoVerse s. Once there, you’ll see the Overview section that shows up when you first has a Birthday section below Country/Region. Choose to manage that information. Then, go ahead and set the month and year in which you were born. 

that you must go through this process if you are a Genshin Impact player in the US. The deadline to fill that out and not get suspended is July 18, 2025. If you keep ignoring this call by  July 20, 2026, your entire will be deleted.
